Facility

Elite Sports Complex in Downers Grove, Illinois was built in 1995 as the training
site for the 1996 U.S. Olympic Rhythmic Group team. Elite is the home of the Elite
Rhythmics  competitive rhythmic gymnastics team, one of the largest rhythmic
teams in the country and the only team in Chicago`s western suburbs. We have
had gymnasts qualify for Junior Olympics, the highest national level of competition
for gymnasts in levels 8 and lower, every year since we opened. This year, we had
9 gymnasts qualify for Junior Olympics and Level 4/5 Championships. Level 7
gymnast Peggy Flavin was their highest ranked gymnast at this prestigious
competition, placing 5^th all-around the top gymnasts in the country in her level.
Elite is proud to be chosen as the host site for the upcoming Pan American Games
selection camp!
